Hello ~~ thank you for checking out my dog collar page! In addition to raising Saint Bernard puppies, I also make collars and leashes. Shortly after I acquired my first Saint (many, many years ago!) I quickly realized how difficult it was to find collars that fit them while still being attractive ~ I had no luck in the local pet stores so I decided to shop on-line ~ yikes!! I found some beautiful collars with matching leads, however, was going to break the bank to purchase them. So I decided to do some research on how to make a dog collar. Since I've been sewing my entire life, I figured this may be something I could figure out. I did months of research, found some great hardware suppliers and here I am! I think what I love most about doing this is the fact that I know my collars are durable because I use them on my own "monsters" AND....they are gorgeous, in addition ~ you won't "break the bank" in my shop!!! Everytime we go somewhere, at least one person will ask: "where did you get his collar?". ************************************************************ How they are made: What you will see at first sight are the high quality designer fabrics that I use, those fabrics are covering a strong webbing core that resists moisture and will not stretch. I sew the fabric securely around the webbing ~ it's sewn directly onto the webbing so there is no "twisting or shifting" at all. The next step is adding the hardware. I use the highest quality hardware ~ you will see most of my designs with high quality durable acetate side release buckles, nylon slip lock buckles (for size adjustment) and nickel plate cast D rings (for leash and tag attachment) ~ this is called my "standard" hardware. I also offer several hardware upgrades ~ in fact, I love using metal hardware for my dogs ~ it's a very classy look and I feel a bit more comfortable using that type of hardware on my huge dogs......this may be something you would want to consider if you are looking for a collar for your extra large breed. Since all of my pieces are custom made, you can pick & choose all of the options and basically create your own custom collar. ************************************************************ Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to start the
